Nurme Factory – modern and flexible

Nurme Factory is a sewing enterprise in Haapsalu, founded in 1994 on private capital. There are over 300 employees in Nurme Factory.

Nurme Factory is a flexible enterprise that is always ready to take into account client’s needs. The prove for it is the acquisition of the compliance certificate ISO 9001:2008 in the year 2003. The certified field of treatment of the management system is the design of clothes, product development and production and sale.

Since the year 1994 the factory has a certified manufacturer licence of W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. that is the basis for the production of high-quality waterproof clothes with taped seams.
In 2007, Nurme Factory gained the Gore-Tex® GOLD LEVEL manufacturer's licence from W. L. Gore & Associates Inc.

To the client we offer all that goes with the manufacture of clothes: the service of contract work, partial contract work and full contract work. Fulfilling the wish of a client Nurme Factory offers the following works:

• development and duplication of cuts (Lectra);
• procurement of materials;
• sewing;
• embroidery (Tajima);
• delivery of finished production, etc.

Nurme Factory is ready to manufacture:

• classical men’s, women’s and children’s pants and skirts;
• sport, hiking and hunting clothes;
• Gore-Tex® 2- and 3-layer jackets and pants, Paclite jackets and pants, Windstopper® jackets and pants, fleece jackets (Polartec® and Windstopper®;
• Work clothes: jackets, pants, and overalls.

In the clothes market where competition becomes tougher and tougher Nurme Factory has invested into in-service training of the personnel in the training class of the factory, quality programmes, new equipment and technology.

The factory has also invested into the working conditions of the employees, offering comfortable and spacious resting rooms, dining possibilities in the bistro of the factory and many other things to them.
